You can't get everything right the first time, especially with websites. We scoured and entered as many products as we could and tested as rigourously as we could, but after a few months, we wanted to show you our progress. Upon releasing our new website into the wild, we were waiting for your feedback on how to fix little nuances, and make the experience that much better, which was our entire intent of redoing the site.
Our coupon entry was only on the cart page, not checkout, which cause our aluable one-time coupons not to register upon checkout. So we added a coupon entry field on checkout. (Our cart page still has a coupon field, but it's only to show you the amount you save, depending on which coupons you add.) SO your newsletter coupons are working!
We also got feedback that our free shipping policy was confusing, as we devised it as a discount to your total, versus being an shipping option. So we revised that so customers have the option of free shipping (upon qualification) or any USPS shipping method available for your purchase. We also made it clear the handling costs and insurance costs so your package gets to you safe and secured.
We got our contact page working correcty so we can hear your constructive feedback.
And we bounced a few emails on our new newsletter: seems some of you had moved away from your old AOL accounts. So we cleaned up our newsletter lists. (NOTE: Yes, we use MailChimp to send our newsletters, it is not spam, if the discount coupon wasn't a hint...)
We cleaned up our payments system so we are secured by Comodo, and can accept now accept Amex, as well as Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. So you can have confidence in your purchases here.
And we introduced our price-matching policy: if you can find a better advertised price online, we will do our best to match it.
Again, lots of nitpicky things, and it hasn't even been a month, but we want to be the best online store we can be, and we realize it takes our customers' feedback to get us there. So thanks, and stay tuned for more magical surprises and offers.
